Edina has been awarded a full Turnkey Project for Dublin City Council Main Pumping Station - Ringsend

Against stiff competition, Edina has been awarded a full Turnkey Project for Dublin City Council Main Pumping Station - Ringsend. This project involves the supply of 3 x 2000 kVA Cummins Generators.

Edina is the main contractor on this project which involves replacement of the existing generator sets and switchgear at the main lift pumping station. The contract includes for the design, supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance and dismantling of generators. Temporary standby generators will be maintained in standby operation until the new generators are tested and accepted for handover.

When the temporary generators are commissioned, the existing installation will be decommissioned, removed and disposed of. The new plant shall then be installed and commissioned. The contract also includes for the replacement of building lighting and small power.

Additionally the main 10 kV switchgear will also be replaced as part of this contract.
