Gas Engine Generator Service

Edina is one of Europe's leading suppliers of gas-engine power generation equipment. For over 20 years Edina has been at the forefront of providing the highest levels of technical and operational support which has resulted in it's clients benefiting from some of the industries highest availability figures for this type of equipment. The successful operation of modern gas engine generators, whether it be as a CHP, landfill or waste to energy installation is a long term partnership between client and supplier, where the services provided have to be tailored to suit the client's needs.

Operating and Maintenance Contracts (O&M)

The Edina O&M contract gives the client the assurance that the investment made will provide the required energy during its lifetime. Each contract is tailored to meet the particular requirements of the installation and is supported by a dedicated contract management team who fully understand the power generation industry.

Technical Support

The Edina service team comprises of highly trained technicians who are factory trained and accredited in the areas of mechanical, gas and electrical engineering. Each is located strategically to ensure that Edina provides true national coverage for the UK and Ireland.           

A sophisticated Service Management System (SMS) ensures that all planned and unplanned service requirements are conducted with the absolute minimum disruption to the client.

Constant evaluation programs ensure that each technician is fully conversant with the latest technical information, tools and equipment and health and safety requirements.

Being the official distributor guarantees that only the correct genuine parts are ever used.

Remote Monitoring

The Edina Remote Monitoring system is state of the art and fundamental to the successful
operation of modern power generation equipment providing a true 24/7 service support. A central control team can immediately interrogate any problem, identify the fault, allocate a technician if required and even dispatch any relevant parts, thus ensuring the absolute minimum downtime.

Reporting

At the end of each month Edina provide a comprehensive operational report of the equipment detailing not only the service issues, but the relevant energy outputs achieved during the period.

Workshop Facilities

Although Edina technicians will always endeavor to perform all service tasks at the clients location, for those which have to carried under workshop conditions Edina has invested in the most modern facilities, fully equipped and capable of handling the full range of engine sizes.

Training

Edina recognises that the efficient and reliable operation of any equipment is a benefit to both their client's and their own service team, and is as the result of working in close partnership. To enable this to be successfull both parties personnell have to be fully conversant with the technical and commercial details of the installation. Therefore Edina have built a purpose designed training facility where they offer a full range of training programs, individualy tailored to the clients needs, using in-house resources and experts from the equipment manufacturer where required.
